Lily is a very simple woman. Her husband working in a company. She has one daughter and one son. Her daughter just appeared 10th board exam and son studied in 8th STD.
In the year 2012 LILI contested as Ward member and win the election. Only one opposition leader stands against her. After taking oath as ward member she first attend 3days training programme organised by PECUC in collaboration with “THE HUNGER PROJECT”. She gained lots of knowledge regarding her role and responsibility . Then LILI joined as member in ALIBHA FEDERATION and ABAHIKA MANDALI. With this knowledge LILI come out to help the poor and deserve people of her village. LILI helped 12 persons to get house under Indira Awas Yojana and 43 to get pension under various GOVT. scheme. LILI did a tremendous work during PHILIN by providing cooked food to the affected people. The GKS meeting regularized after LILI became the president of GKS committee. Now the meeting occurring in every month. LILI is the one of the SMC member of Bisarpur Primary school. During this period one teacher was allegedly accused for misbehaving the girl students and lady teacher. All the girls told LILI about this matter. Then LILI immediately called SMC meeting and decided to give petition t to district Inspector of school, School Inspector , Block development officer for transfer the teacher . Then LILI discussed this incident with ALIBHA FEDERATION. One ward member named Rita Jena of Jayadev panchayat recognized the teacher and said that laxmidhar was the teacher of her village and there he also misbehaved the children. So with mutual discussion it was decided to suspend the teacher instead of transferred. At last replaced by a lady teacher in the school .
She also connected Electrification of 20 BPL family under Rajiv Bidyut Yojana.
People of her ward are very happy with the performance of LILI. They praise LILI and gave blessing to her. Her willingness to do something for the people leads her towards a biggest achievement.
