I am Lizzi Pattanayak, studying in +2 at Balakati. I stay with my parents two sister and one brother. My father is a farmer and my mother is a homemaker. Apart from studying my other hobbies are watching TV, playing and singing and making new friends. I am a nature lover. When I heard about the ECOSAVERS youth network I joined as a member. The name of my group is Sunrise ECOSAVERS youth network. After being a member, I carried out many activities in my village like cleaning village, motivating people to use dustbins, plantation, motivating people to stopthe use of polythene, etc.
Whenever I used to sit on the terrace, I see birds hopping all around and chirping the nature’s tune. I got an idea of developing bird nests in my back yard trees. This bird nest inspired my friends to adopt this creativity and by seeing me they are also making many bird nests. In our village,there are now a total of 10 bird nests. Providing shelter to these birds always gives you a feeling of self-containment. This has led to increase in the number of birds in my village.
