Purpose

To contribute towards the rights of children to education, health, care and protection in 20 villages of Keonjhar district

Project Objectives:

To enroll and provide preparatory education in the age group-4-6 years of age.
To provide bridge course for drop outs, child labourers, children never enrolled in schools, long absentees, in the age group of 6-14 years and mainstream them in regular schools. support teaching learning materials including test papers to the 10th Appearing students
To build a culture of education, good health and sanitation practices, immunisation, maternal health care in all villages and to establish linkages with public health system.

Activities

Establish 20 Sradha Bhaban Centers for beginners, drop outs, long absentee, child labour.
Promoting sanitation & safe drinking water at family and community level.
Teaching Learning Material(TLM)
Text books support to 10th Appearing students
Training to staffs
Capacity building of school management committee
Strengthen community based protection mechanism
Facilitating immunisation,health education, maternal care.
Access & linkages to government. health services-immunization, maternal care, (Anganwadi centers, Primary Health Centers, Community Health Centers, ASHA(villagehealth worker),Public Distribution System, Gaon Kalyan Samiti(village health &sanitation committee, Rural Water Sanitation Services etc.)
