Block Demonstration of Paddy-Under Line Transplanting of Balesore District.

Broad Objective:

To attain higher production of paddy at lesser cost by inculcating the practice of LINE TRANSPLANTATION in Bhogarai block of Balasore district in Odisha.

Specific Objective:

To propagate LINE RANSPLANTATION among select  beneficiaries in 20 target villages in Bhogarai block by end of Ravi Crops in 2012.

Major Activities :

• Collection of materials from block office
• Store keeping of materials
• Village wise identification of ‘Chaka’.
• ‘Chaka wise’ identification of beneficiaries
• Recruitment & training of village wise progressive farmers
• Distribution of materials
• IEC & awareness campaign
• Documentation & report compliance
• Field visits
