Overall Objective: Empowerment of children, women and youth through quality education, livelihood opportunities and environment protection in 25 villages of Patna Block, Kendujhar District, Odisha, India
Specific objective 1: Children’s right to education is ensured in line with the Right to Education Act
Results 1.Children in the targeted villages are accessing quality education and are aware of child rights and environment protection
Activities
- Functioning of Sradha Bhawan in the 25 villages
- Distribution of teaching materials to the Sradha Bhawan
- Training to Sishusabha (Child Rights Club) members
- Organisation of the annual event for children
- Providing the training to Govt. Schools
- Providing the training to ICDS workers
- Providing the training to SMC Members
Specific objective 2: Mothers and local stakeholders are sensitized, capacitated and empowered to run sustained and focused engagement to ensure children’s rights
Results 2: Capacities of women and other stakeholders are built to protect children’s rights and sustainable development

- Providing the training to Women group members on reproductive health
- Support to SHGs for Income generation
- Training to Village Level Child Protection Committees (VLCPC) Members
- Block level interface workshop
- State level consultation workshop with key stakeholders
- Training to Women SHGs on local Ecosystem and Food Ecology

Specific objective 3: Young people are empowered to pursue their vocation, career and to protect the environment
Results 3: Youth develop insight and perspective on current issues of concern affecting them and their communities and become equipped to address the issues

- Career counselling to young children and youth
- State level Training to Youth Network Members on Ecology, Sustainable Development
- Life Skills training for adolescent boys & girls
- Observation of Days (Earth Day, Water Day, Environment Day, Play Day - 4 days
- Ecosavers youth network training

Specific objective 4: Creating livelihood opportunities through ecosystem restoration
Results: 4. Women farmers are acquiring skills for sustainable agriculture and livelihood practices

- Set up of nutritional garden at Aanganwadi and school level
- Training women farmer on local pulses, millet, organic farming
